They certainly aren't counting the Chicken Hawk down.
Move America Forward still has hope for Bolton and apparently getting the U.N out of the U.S.
They claim: "Senator Voinovich is taking a 'new' and 'fair' look at John Bolton - the man President Bush has nominated to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations."
They are "confident Senator Voinovich will vote 'YES' to allow Mr. Bolton's nomination to proceed from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee....that John Bolton's nomination will make it to the floor for a vote by the full U.S. Senate."
Not that there is any link to the Republicans or Frist, but they do have banner of a boot on Florida kicking the U.N symbol across the Atlantic. Does this mean Jeb Bush is the other candidate for the Fristian Soldiers?

Even with the flexibility of context* it seems inescapable that politics was a consideration. The above quote might be the case where HS Secretary Tom Ridge prevailed, with this exception proving the rule. Since they feared it being political, they had to raise the level for fear of being charged it was political. If this seems a demonstation of insane thinking, then you get it.

Conservative claim submitted that Sherrod leak was an Obama distraction from all of Obama's problems. My earlier thought was that it was a distraction from all his successes. In fact, my idea is supported by the fact that Breitbart had this for months.(by one account, accuracy aside) Camel's nose under tent? It occurred to me re: Tax increase verses Expiring Cuts. This means that Republicans are the camel's nose, when they now want to extend cuts scheduled to expire. On the other hump, Democrats will extend the middle class tax cuts. Not to mention one of these could actually pay for the other.[McClatchy]

[Not to mention "tax on uncertainty" of small businesses being so impacted: If they hire more, they will be taxed less, and profit more.]
